Academy at Empire!
Empire launched our Recreational Gymnastics classes in 2020. We offer a well-rounded gymnastics program with uneven bars, beam, and vault equipment added to our expansive list of Floor Training Equipment.
Our Gymnastics Program aims to introduce strength, body control, body awareness, flexibility, following directions, listening skills, self-discipline, respect, and courtesy for all coaches and other peers in class in a fun atmosphere. Empire Kids Gymnastics Academy also offers flexible schedules and a dedicated experienced team of coaches you and your young budding gymnast will love.

Class Information
Gymnastics 1
Ages 6 -10 years older
offers beginner learners the foundational skills needed to become strong gymnasts. Our weekly 60-minute class focus rotates between vault, bars, beam, and floor. Athletes are encouraged to attend twice per week. Empire Gymnastics Academy promotes safe progressions. Athletes must demonstrate mastery of the more difficult skills in Level 1 before moving up to the next level.

Girls and Boys welcome.
Experience level: No experience required.

Gymnastics 2
Ages 6 -10 years older
Gymnastics 2 continues to build on and master the more difficult Level 1 skills and learn the foundations of new skills. Weekly class focus rotates between vault, bars, beam, and floor events. Empire Gymnastics Academy promotes safe progressions. Athletes must demonstrate mastery of the more difficult skills in Level 2 before moving up to the next level. Classes meet weekly for 60 minutes, but athletes are encouraged to attend twice per week, if possible.
Girls and Boys welcome.
Experience level: Instructor recommendation required.
Gymnastics 3/4
Ages 6 years & older
Gymnastics 3/4 prepares athletes for Pre-Team as they begin to master more difficult skills on the vault, bars, beam, and floor. Empire Gymnastics Academy promotes safe progressions. Athletes must demonstrate mastery of the more difficult skills in Level 3 or 4 in order to move up. Classes meet weekly for 90 minutes, but athletes are encouraged to attend twice per week, if possible.
Girls and Boys welcome.
Experience level: Instructor recommendation required.
